The main meeting room for plenary sessions is the magnificent Vicars' Hall which was built in 1415 and is believed to be the venue for the first performance of ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’. For most Consultations, the Hall is laid out in a horseshoe for up to 40 guests.

The Vicars' Hall is equipped with:

  • White projection screen
  • Overhead projector / visualiser
  • Slide projector with stand and carousel
  • Data projector for computer generated presentations
  • Projection unit for television, videos and DVDs
  • Sound system (audio cassette, compact disc)
  • Microphones (lectern, clip on, table and hand-held)
  • Flip charts.

The Hall can also be used for receptions and buffet meals for up to 95 guests and for dinners for up to 64 seated guests.

St George’s House has four seminar rooms. Each room is equipped with a flip chart and can seat ten guests:

  • The Earl of Iveagh Room (equipped with Wi-Fi facilities).
  • The Kenneth Adams Room
  • The Patricia Hotung Room
  • The Catherine Room (seats 12 boardroom-style).
